Nova Scotia's Emma Logan/Frank Chung finished 5-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nova Scotia's Emma Logan/Frank Chung defeated Alberta's Sally Korol/Michael Austria 9-5, then won 8-1 against Manitoba's Hannah Brown/Calvin Novak and 16-1 against British Columbia's Cecilia Tung/Alnoor Mitha. Nova Scotia's Emma Logan/Frank Chung won 7-2 against Saskatchewan's Pamela Rustoen/Hayden Bucheler, then won 1-0 against Manitoba's Susanne Beriault/Bill Kluchnik.
