Lin responded with a 13-5 win over Alastair Fyfe (Riyadh, KSA). Lin won 11-4 against Nassar Alyafei (Doha, QAT). Lin went on to lose 9-8 against Changmin Kim (Uiseong, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their third place finish at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships, Lin earn 7.268 world rankings points, moving up 171 spots the World Ranking Standings into 214th place overall with 7.923 total points. Lin ranks 151st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.923 points earned so far this season.
