Geving/Violette lost 8-5 to Sarah Anderson/Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) where Geving/Violette responded with a 7-5 win over Jenna Burchesky/Ben Richardson (Chaska, MN). Geving/Violette went on to lose 8-7 against Vicky Persinger/Christopher Plys (Fairbanks, AK). Geving/Violette responded with a 9-7 win over Madison Bear/Andrew Stopera (Chaska, MN). Geving/Violette went on to lose 7-2 against Tabitha Peterson/Joe Polo (Chaska, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

Geving/Violette earned 9.887 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 9.886 after improving upon their best so far this season. Geving/Violette ranks 31st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 28.078 points earned so far this season.
