Laura Walker/Kirk Muyres (Edmonton, AB) lost 8-3 to Tahli Gill/Dean Hewitt (Brisbane, AUS) in the Final of the Okotoks Mixed Doubles, held October 30 - 31, 2021 at the Okotoks Curling Club in Okotoks, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Walker/Muyres won 7-3 over Bobbie Sauder/Roland Robinson (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2021 Okotoks Mixed Doubles in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada; and won 9-4 over Brittany Tran/Aaron Sluchinski (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2021 Okotoks Mixed Doubles in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada;

Walker/Muyres finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walker/Muyres defeated Kristine Campbell/Mike Libbus (Okotoks, AB) 9-1, then won 7-1 against Christa Shulman/Rodney Ouellette (Rocky Mountain House, AB) and 8-4 against Paige Papley/Evan van Amsterdam (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Okotoks Mixed Doubles, Walker/Muyres take home 16.160 world rankings points along with the $1,400CDN prize, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 55.920 total points. Walker/Muyres ranks 42nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 24.074 points earned so far this season.
