Louise Harkinn/Trond Erik Standerholen (Hedmarken, NOR) qualified for the 2021 Norway Open Mixed Doubles playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-0 against Martine Ronning/Mathias Braenden (Lillehammer, NOR).  
 
Harkinn/Standerholen finished 2-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Harkinn/Standerholen defeated Torill Agnethe Sletli/Terje Skogvold (Hedmarken, NOR) 8-5, then went on to lose 7-5 against Vicki Berlin/Jakob Hjort (Hvidovre, DEN). Harkinn/Standerholen responded with a 7-4 win over Rikke Iversen/Rune Lorentsen (Halden, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Harkinn/Standerholen earned 3.879 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Norway Open Mixed Doubles, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 3.88 after improving upon their best so far this season.
