To advance to the championship game, Kent won 6-5 over Mitchell Kopytko (Kamloops, BC) in the semifinals

Kent are currently 4-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kent defeated Chris Parkinson (Victoria, BC) 5-4, then won 9-2 against Chinese Taipei's Samuel Chang and 6-5 against Adam Fenton (New Westminster, BC). Kent won 8-4 against Daniel Deng (Vancouver, BC). In their next game, Kent plays.
