Rhyme/Smith responded with a 9-2 win over Clare Moores/Lance Wheeler (Golden, CO). Rhyme/Smith went on to lose 9-3 against Sydney Mullaney/Chase Sinnett (Wayland, MA). Rhyme/Smith responded with a 10-6 win over Regan Birr/Todd Birr (Blaine, MN). Rhyme/Smith won 8-3 against Emily Schweitzer/Blake Hagberg (Saint Paul, MN). Rhyme/Smith went on to lose 7-4 against Walker/Leichter in their final qualifying round match.

Rhyme/Smith earned 4.141 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 4.14 after improving upon their best so far this season. Rhyme/Smith ranks 70th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.140 points earned so far this season.
