Krause went on to lose 7-5 against Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.

Krause earned 30.281 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Olympic Qualification Event, moving up 65 spots the World Ranking Standings into 67th place overall with 61.328 total points. Krause ranks 60th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 44.342 points earned so far this season.
