In their opening game, Howard defeated Kaitlyn Jones (Winnipeg, MB) 8-4, then went on to lose 9-4 against Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT). Howard lost 7-5 to Lauren Mann (Ottawa, ON) where Howard responded with a 9-7 win over Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC). Howard went on to lose 7-4 against Jill Brothers (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
