Edin finished 9-3 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin defeated Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED) 7-4, then went on to lose 8-7 against Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI). Edin lost 10-8 to Retornaz where Edin responded with a 11-4 win over Tobias Thune (Hvidovre, DEN). Edin won 7-2 against Kalle Kiiskinen (Hyvinkaa, FIN), then won 8-4 against Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE) and 7-2 against Sixten Totzek (Munich, GER). Edin won 7-5 against Gushue. Edin went on to lose 7-5 against Soo-Hyuk Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Edin responded with a 8-2 win over Kyle Waddell (Stirling, SCO). Edin won 5-3 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, USA), then won 7-6 against Magnus Ramsfjell (Lillehammer, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the LGT World Men's Curling Championship Championship title, Edin earned 75.289 world rankings points, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 2nd place overall with 410.814 total points.
