Hollie Duncan (Woodstock , ON) won 7-3 over Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT) in the Final of the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard, held September 10 - 13, 2021 in Oakville, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Duncan won 10-5 over Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals
Duncan finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Duncan defeated Marie-Elaine Little (Sudbury, NONT) 7-3, then won 7-3 against Heather Heggestad (Thornhill, ON) and 6-5 against Jestyn Murphy (Mississauga, ON). Duncan went on to lose 6-4 against Courtney Auld (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard Championship title, Duncan earned 32.369 world rankings points along with the $5,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 19th place overall with 91.305 total points. Duncan ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 32.369 points earned so far this season.
