In their opening game, Jacobs defeated Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) 8-2, then won 8-3 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) to advance to the A-Qualifier where they 6-5 against Matt Dunstone (Regina, SK) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
