To advance to the championship game, Jacobs won 6-1 over Glenn Howard (Penetanguishene, ON) in the semifinals of the 2021 Stu Sells Oakville Tankard in Oakville, Ontario; and won 7-2 over John Epping (Toronto, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
Jacobs finished 3-0 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs defeated Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) 8-2, then won 8-3 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) to advance to the A-Qualifier where they 6-5 against Matt Dunstone (Regina, SK) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard, Jacobs take home 51.692 world rankings points along with the $7,000CDN prize, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 293.575 total points. Jacobs ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 51.692 points earned so far this season.
