Lindsay Bertsch (Calgary, AB) lost 5-3 to Eunji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR) in the Final of the Ladies Alberta Open, held November 12 - 14, 2021 at the Okotoks Curling Club in Okotoks, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Bertsch won 6-5 over Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2021 Ladies Alberta Open in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada;
Bertsch finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bertsch defeated Kellie Stiksma (Edmoton, AB) 6-4, then won 5-4 against Jessica Wytrychowski (Airdrie, AB). Bertsch went on to lose 7-3 against Skrlik in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Ladies Alberta Open, Bertsch take home 15.094 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN prize, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 51st place overall with 65.996 total points. Bertsch ranks 44th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 37.377 points earned so far this season.
