Darren Moulding (Lacombe, AB) run at the 2022 Boston Pizza Alberta Curling Tour Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 9-4 loss to Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB). of the 2022 Boston Pizza Alberta Curling Tour Championship in Leduc, Alberta, Canada;

Moulding finished 3-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Moulding defeated Aaron Sluchinski (Red Deer, AB) 3-1, then won 7-1 against Sturmay. Moulding went on to lose 6-3 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). Moulding lost 7-1 to Sturmay where Moulding responded with a 7-3 win over Dallan Muyres (Fox Valley, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Moulding earned 19.320 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Boston Pizza Alberta Curling Tour Championship. For week 36 of the event schedule, Moulding did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
