Paetz/Michel won 8-4 against Huerlimann/Schwaller, then won 7-6 against Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI) and 8-2 against Selina Witschonke/Simon Gloor (St. Moritz, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Swiss Curling Championship Championship title, Paetz/Michel earned 38.531 world rankings points, remaining in 777th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 14.654 after improving upon their best so far this season. Paetz/Michel ranks 48th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 38.532 points earned so far this season.
