Jack Strawhorn (Dumfries, SCO) lost 9-6 to James Craik (Forfar, SCO) in the Final of the Scottish Curling Junior Championships, held November 23 - 28, 2021 in Aberdeen, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Strawhorn won 8-6 over Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2022 Scottish Curling Junior Championships in Aberdeen, Scotland;
Strawhorn finished 7-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Strawhorn defeated Ross Craik (Forfar, SCO) 9-3, then won 11-3 against Stewart Kyle (Dumfries, SCO) and 10-4 against Carson. Strawhorn won 8-2 against Arran Thomson (Perth, SCO). Strawhorn went on to lose 7-4 against Craik. Strawhorn responded with a 7-3 win over Harry Gow (Borders, SCO). Strawhorn won 9-6 against Gavin Cameron (Moray, SCO), then won 8-4 against Ewan Jackson (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Scottish Curling Junior Championships, Strawhorn take home 10.886 world rankings points. For week 18 of the event schedule, Strawhorn did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Strawhorn ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
