Kovaleva won 7-4 against Jentsch, then won 7-5 against Stefania Constantini (Trentino, ITA) and 10-1 against Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR). Kovaleva won 11-2 against Liisa Turmann (Tallinn, EST) in their final qualifying round match.

With their fourth place finish at the Le Gruyere AOP European Curling Championships, Kovaleva take home 29.233 world rankings points. For week 18 of the event schedule, Kovaleva did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 10th to 11th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 235.151 total points. Kovaleva ranks 8th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 116.322 points earned so far this season.
