Retornaz won 7-2 against Edin, then won 11-5 against Sixten Totzek (Munich, GER) and 8-3 against Kalle Kiiskinen (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.

With their third place finish at the Le Gruyere AOP European Curling Championships, Retornaz earn 39.838 world rankings points.
