Skaslien won 9-6 against Suyuan Fan (Beijing, CHN), then won 6-2 against Almida de Val (Sundbyberg, SWE) and 6-2 against Dodds. Skaslien won 6-5 against Jenny Perret (Glarus, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
