Fujisawa won 8-7 against Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN), then won 10-5 against Alina Kovaleva (Saint-Petersburg, RUS) and 10-2 against Yu Han (Beijing, CHN). Fujisawa went on to lose 10-5 against Eunjung Kim (Gangneung, KOR). Fujisawa lost 10-4 to Muirhead where Fujisawa responded with a 10-7 win over Tabitha Peterson (St. Paul, USA). Fujisawa went on to lose 8-4 against Tirinzoni in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Winter Olympics, Fujisawa take home 95.185 world rankings points.
