Eve Muirhead (Stirling, UK) won 10-3 over Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in the Final of the Winter Olympics, held February 4 - 20, 2022 in Beijing, China. To advance to the championship game, Muirhead won 12-11 over Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China;

Muirhead finished 5-4 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muirhead lost 6-5 to Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI), then responded with a 8-2 win over Hasselborg. Muirhead went on to lose 9-7 against Eunjung Kim (Gangneung, KOR). Muirhead responded with a 10-5 win over Tabitha Peterson (St. Paul, USA). Muirhead won 7-2 against Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN). Muirhead went on to lose 7-3 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, CAN). Muirhead responded with a 10-4 win over Fujisawa. Muirhead went on to lose 8-4 against Yu Han (Beijing, CHN). Muirhead responded with a 9-4 win over Alina Kovaleva (Saint-Petersburg, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Winter Olympics Championship title, Muirhead earned 129.797 world rankings points, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 2nd place overall with 428.032 total points. Muirhead ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 357.036 points earned so far this season.
