To advance to the championship game, Marks/Kennedy won 6-3 over Brittany Tran/Aaron Sluchinski (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2021 Alberta Curling Series: Leduc in Leduc, Alberta; and won 7-6 over Kayla Skrlik/Jeremy Harty (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2021 Alberta Curling Series: Leduc in Leduc, Alberta;

Marks/Kennedy finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Marks/Kennedy defeated Krista Shortridge/Brady Gillies (Lethbridge, AB) 7-3, then went on to lose 9-8 against Wilkes/Thiessen.
