Rachel MacLean (Cornwall, PEI) finished 4-4 in the 18-team qualifying round. . MacLean won 8-6 against Cassie Rogers (Yellowknife, NT). MacLean went on to lose 7-3 against Tansy Tober (Winnipeg, MB). MacLean responded with a 8-6 win over Mackenzie Mitchell (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

MacLean earned 5.047 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 16 spots the World Ranking Standings into 106th place overall with 19.178 total points. MacLean ranks 106th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.178 points earned so far this season.
