Hafeli went on to lose 6-5 against Claire Booth (Calgary, AB). Hafeli responded with a 7-6 win over Madison Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Hafeli earned 5.047 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 125 spots the World Ranking Standings into 155th place overall with 5.047 total points. Hafeli ranks 155th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.047 points earned so far this season.
