Connor Deane (New Westminster, BC) qualified for the 2022 Canadian U21 Junior Mens Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB). of the 2022 Canadian U21 Junior Mens Championship in Stratford, Ontario;

Deane finished 6-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Deane defeated Nathen Pomedli (Saskatoon, SK) 6-3, then went on to lose 8-7 against Justin Runciman (Edmonton, AB). Deane responded with a 11-4 win over Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB). Deane won 9-6 against Dallas Burgess (Kakabeka Falls, NONT). Deane went on to lose 9-4 against Landan Rooney (Whitby, ON). Deane responded with a 9-5 win over Dimitri Audibert (Riverbend, QC). Deane won 14-2 against Mason MacNeil (Inuvik, NT), then won 7-6 against Sean O'Leary (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

Deane earned 12.920 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Canadian U21 Junior Mens Championship, moving up 52 spots the World Ranking Standings into 117th place overall with 25.098 total points.
