Paul Cseke (Victoria, BC) lost 11-8 to Jeff Richard (Kelowna, BC) in the Final of the BC Mens Curling Championship, held January 4 - 9, 2022 in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Cseke finished 4-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cseke defeated Mitchell Kopytko (Kamloops, BC) 10-3, then won 9-8 against Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) and 10-6 against Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC). Cseke won 8-2 against Richard in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the BC Mens Curling Championship, Cseke take home 13.475 world rankings points. Cseke move up 44 spots after posting a net gain of 7.721 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 82nd overall with 42.655 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Cseke ranks 80th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 36.902 points earned so far this season.
