Schmiemann/Morris won 8-3 against Oye-Sem Won Briand/Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, NONT), then won 7-5 against Lisa Weagle/John Epping (Toronto, ON) and 7-4 against Ashley Quick/Mike Armstrong (Regina, SK). Schmiemann/Morris won 8-7 against Dezaray Hawes/Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
