Grattan went on to lose 8-4 against Colton Flasch (Saskatoon, SK). Grattan lost 5-4 to Glenn Howard (Penetanguishene, ON). Grattan lost 5-2 to Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) where Grattan responded with a 9-3 win over Tyler Smith (Crapaud, PEI). Grattan won 8-2 against Thomas Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK) in their final qualifying round match.

Grattan earned 13.354 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 68th place overall with 53.154 total points. Grattan ranks 68th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 53.154 points earned so far this season.
