Jeong finished 4-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jeong lost 4-3 to Kim, then responded with a 10-3 win over Kim. Jeong won 11-8 against Jongduk Park (Gangwondo, KOR). Jeong went on to lose 8-2 against Eun Bin Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Jeong responded with a 11-5 win over Gyu Nam Oh (Seoul, KOR). Jeong won 10-8 against Woo Jin Yang (Uijeongbu, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
