Edin finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin defeated Jannis Bannwart (St. Gallen, SUI) 8-1, then won 7-1 against Switzerland's Jan Klossner. Edin went on to lose 6-1 against Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI). Edin responded with a 7-5 win over Fredrik Nyman (Leksand, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
