Martin/Scharback finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin/Scharback defeated Madison Johnson/Dustin Mikush (Saskatoon, SK) 9-5, then won 9-3 against Shelby Brandt/Grady LaMontagne (Regina, SK) and 9-8 against Ritchie/Carl deConinck Smith (Regina, SK). Martin/Scharback went on to lose 7-3 against de Gooijer/Springer in their final qualifying round match.
