Tran/Powell lost 8-3 to Jaelyn Cotter/Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) where Tran/Powell responded with a 11-1 win over Nancy Martin/Tyrel Griffith (Saskatoon , SK). Tran/Powell went on to lose 8-3 against Lisa Weagle/John Epping (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Tran/Powell earned 2.638 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 10 of the event schedule, Tran/Powell did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tran/Powell ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
