Just/Deis Reaches 2021 Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic Quarters

Sherry Just/Ryan Deis (Prince Albert, SK) qualified for the 2021 Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 10-7 against Sarah Anderson/Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN). of the 2021 Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic in Banff, Alberta, Canada;

Just/Deis finished 4-1 in the 36-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Just/Deis defeated Clancy Grandy/Patrick Janssen (Pickering, ON) 9-7, then won 8-5 against Tahli Gill/Dean Hewitt (Brisbane, AUS) and 10-5 against Jennifer Sashkiw/Shane Coutis (Banff, AB). Just/Deis went on to lose 7-3 against Jocelyn Peterman/Brett Gallant (Winnipeg, MB). Just/Deis responded with a 9-4 win over Emilie Desjardins/Robert Desjardins (Saguenay, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Just/Deis earned 21.104 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 20.102 after improving upon their best so far this season. Just/Deis ranks 22nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 27.926 points earned so far this season.
