Einarson finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson defeated Tabitha Peterson (Chaska, MN) 7-6, then won 8-2 against Elena Stern (Oberwallis, SUI). Einarson went on to lose 10-3 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI). Einarson responded with a 6-1 win over Min Ji Kim (Chuncheon, KOR). Einarson won 6-1 against Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
