Harty finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Harty lost 5-4 to Terry Meek (Calgary, AB), then responded with a 8-1 win over Jacob Libbus (Okotoks, AB). Harty won 6-4 against Konschuh, then won 9-3 against Andrew Hodgson (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Original 16 Tour Bonspiel, Harty take home 18.456 world rankings points along with the $3,500CDN prize, remaining in 33rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 14.066 after improving upon their best so far this season. Harty ranks 46th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 37.007 points earned so far this season.
