Daniel Bruce (St. John's, NL) finished 1-6 in the 8-team qualifying round. . Bruce lost 8-6 to Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS). Bruce lost 11-4 to Dylan Niepage (Guelph, ON) where Bruce responded with a 8-6 win over Nicholas Lemieux (St. Catharines, ON). Bruce went on to lose 8-7 against Mitchell Katcher (Brandon, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Bruce earned 1.122 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 34 of the event schedule, Bruce did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 134th to 136th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 27.708 total points. Bruce ranks 136th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 27.708 points earned so far this season.
