Sturmay won 12-2 against Nicholas Lemieux (St. Catharines, ON). Sturmay went on to lose 6-3 against Matthew Hall (Waterloo, ON). Sturmay responded with a 6-4 win over Manuel. Sturmay won 8-5 against Ryan Grabarczyk (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
