In their opening game, Dunstone defeated Kyle Kurz (Winnipeg, MB) 9-0, then won 6-3 against Greg Smith (St. John's, NL) and 5-2 against Mark Kean (Woodstock, ON). Dunstone won 4-3 against Dylan Webster (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
