Sanscartier/Caron went on to lose 11-5 against Laurie St-Georges/Felix Asselin (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

The berth into the first round of the Quebec Mixed Doubles Championship playoffs earned Sanscartier/Caron 4.846 world rankings points.
