Jeff Brown (North Bay, NONT) finished 2-5 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Mike Badiuk (Geraldton, NONT) 6-5, then went on to lose 8-6 against Ryan Sayer (New Liskeard, NONT). Brown responded with a 7-6 win over Charlie Robert (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Brown went on to lose 8-3 against Nicholas Lemieux (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Brown lost 11-5 to Jordan Chandler (Little Current, NONT). Brown lost 9-2 to Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Brown lost 7-2 to Sandy MacEwan (Sudbury, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.

Brown earned 1.069 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, Brown did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Brown ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
