CHAMPION: Cobelli/Mosaner Wins 2020 Italian Mixed Doubles Championship

Alice Cobelli/Amos Mosaner (Trentino, ITA) won 6-5 over Angela Romei/Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) in the Final of the Italian Mixed Doubles Championship, held January 24 - 26, 2020 in Trentino, Italy. To advance to the championship game, Cobelli/Mosaner won 7-4 over Chiara Zanotelli/Mattia Giovanella (Trentino, ITA) in the semifinals of the 2020 Italian Mixed Doubles Championship in Trentino, Italy;

Cobelli/Mosaner finished 2-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cobelli/Mosaner defeated Anna Maria Maurino/Lorenzo Maurino (Pinerolo, ITA) 8-6, then won 14-2 against Donatella Bennigartner/Simone Margheritis (Milan, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Italian Mixed Doubles Championship Championship title, Cobelli/Mosaner earned 16.031 world rankings points, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 16.032 after improving upon their best so far this season. Cobelli/Mosaner ranks 93rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 18.810 points earned so far this season.
