Andrew Woolston (Kent, ENG) finished 3-3 in the 4-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Woolston defeated Rob Retchless (Tunbridge Wells, ENG) 9-6, then won 7-6 against Stuart Brand (Kent, ENG) and 9-1 against Owen Rees (Brighton, ENG). Woolston went on to lose 9-1 against Brand. Woolston lost 8-4 to Retchless. Woolston lost 7-6 to Rees in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the English Curling Championships Championship title, Woolston earned 5.344 world rankings points. For week 29 of the event schedule, Woolston did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Woolston ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
