Susie Smith (Greenock, SCO) finished 3-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Smith lost 12-0 to Beth Farmer (Kinross, SCO), droppimg another game, 9-6 to Layla Al-Saffar (Forfar, SCO). Smith lost 10-3 to Lisa Davie (Stirling, SCO) where Smith responded with a 12-8 win over Hannah Farries (Dumfries, SCO). Smith went on to lose 8-2 against Amy Bryce (Stirling, SCO). Smith responded with a 8-3 win over Kara Findlay (Edinburgh, SCO). Smith won 9-7 against Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Smith earned 2.164 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Smith did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Smith ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
