In their opening game, Stewart defeated Matthew Mepstead (Oshawa, ON) 5-4, then won 10-1 against Dayna Deruelle (Harrison, ON). Stewart went on to lose 8-3 against Matthew Hall (Kitchener, ON). Stewart responded with a 7-6 win over Deruelle. Stewart won 8-3 against Richard Krell (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON). Stewart went on to lose 7-6 against Hall in their final qualifying round match.

Stewart earned 3.866 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 26 of the event schedule, Stewart did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 171st to 175th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 16.184 total points. Stewart ranks 183rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.552 points earned so far this season.
