Jason March (Toronto, ON) finished 2-2 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, March defeated Sam Steep (St. Catherines, ON) 9-4, then went on to lose 7-3 against Mark Kean (London, ON). March responded with a 7-2 win over Matthew Mepstead (Oshawa, ON). March went on to lose 7-6 against Steep in their final qualifying round match.

March earned 1.933 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 177th place overall with 15.538 total points. March ranks 176th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.295 points earned so far this season.
