Quebec's Bruce Beveridge lost 13-8 to British Columbia's Douglas (Buzz) McGibney where Quebec's Bruce Beveridge responded with a 11-8 win over Nova Scotia's Ron Franklin. Quebec's Bruce Beveridge won 8-7 against Northern Ontario's Bill Grozelle, then won 7-5 against Prince Edward Island's Ken McDonald. Quebec's Bruce Beveridge went on to lose 14-4 against Manitoba's Bruce Hudson. Quebec's Bruce Beveridge responded with a 12-10 win over New Brunswick's Charlie Sullivan Sr.. Quebec's Bruce Beveridge went on to lose 11-9 against Newfoundland / Labrador's Len Kalichak in their final qualifying round match.
