Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK) finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hartung defeated Tye Olson (Estevan, SK) 12-6, then won 7-6 against Scott Comfort (Wadena, SK) and 7-5 against Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the SaskTel Men's South Qualifier Championship title, Hartung earned 6.188 world rankings points.
