In their opening game, Comfort defeated Brett Behm (Moose Jaw, SK) 9-4, then went on to lose 7-6 against Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK). Comfort lost 9-2 to Shawn Meyer (Estevan, SK) where Comfort responded with a 11-2 win over Tye Olson (Estevan, SK). Comfort went on to lose 7-3 against Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
