Ryan Sayer (New Liskeard, NONT) needed a tiebreaker to advance to the playoffs, Sayer finished 3-3 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sayer defeated Matt Mann (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) 10-4, then went on to lose 7-5 against Clint Cudmore (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Sayer responded with a 7-6 win over Shane Gordon (Sudbury, NONT). Sayer went on to lose 7-3 against Charlie Robert (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Sayer lost 5-4 to Nicholas Lemieux (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) where Sayer responded with a 9-3 win over Jeff Brown (North Bay, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.

Sayer earned 2.231 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Northern Ontario Men's East Qualifier. For week 25 of the event schedule, Sayer did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sayer ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
