Melissa Morrow (Summerside, PEI) finished 3-3 in the 5-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Morrow defeated Tammy Dewar (Montague, PEI) 11-5, then went on to lose 8-2 against Suzanne Birt (Montague, PEI). Morrow responded with a 7-6 win over Dewar. Morrow went on to lose 6-3 against Veronica Smith (Summerside, PEI). Morrow responded with a 6-5 win over Amanda Power (Charlottetown, PEI). Morrow went on to lose 7-6 against Birt in their final qualifying round match.

Morrow earned 0.928 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 25 of the event schedule, Morrow did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Morrow ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
